Attention Frame Buyers: Gain Valuable Business Skills at International Vision Expo East

Alexandria, VA (February 11, 2009) – The Vision Council’s Eyewear and Accessories Division is pleased to present the Frame Buyer’s Certificate program at International Vision Expo East, held March 27-29, 2009, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. The program, delivered in conjunction with Eyecare Business, is designed to help eye care professionals maximize dispensary profit potential.

The Frame Buyer’s Certificate program offers 15 hours of continuing education dealing specifically with inventory management and teaches participants turnkey processes to select, manage, monitor, promote and benchmark their frame inventory. To receive a Frame Buyer’s Certificate, conferees must complete eight hours of inventory management focused curriculum.

“The courses in the Frame Buyer’s Certificate program go above and beyond dispensing and technical information commonly found in continuing education for eye care professionals,” said Andrea Gluck, The Vision Council’s Eyewear and Accessories Division chair. “With this knowledge base that directly relates to inventory management, frame buyers who complete the program will be able to keep the costs down and cash flow balanced in their practices – a real advantage in today’s marketplace.”
