Emerging Optical Leaders Sneak Preview: The Vision Council's Eyecessorize Campaign to Release Spring/Summer 2017 Trend Kit for Consumer Media
The Vision Council's Eyecessorize fashion eyewear campaign will release its spring/summer 2017 trend kit to hundreds of fashion and lifestyle editors nationwide on Monday, February 13. The digital kit will include an online booklet prominently featuring product from members of The Vision Council, including men's and women's optical and sunwear frame images, alongside trend descriptions. Provided in a digital flipbook format, the kit gives editors quick and easy access to the materials, offering them the capability to download hi-res versions of the featured frames and view slideshows showcasing the frames in each trend.
Members of The Vision Council's Emerging Optical Leaders can preview an interactive version of the kit here.
The kit is used to generate consumer media awareness of the season's eyewear trends and product from members of The Vision Council, ultimately leading to coverage in fashion and lifestyle media outlets. The kit will be sent to approximately 400 editors from top-tier outlets like Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Glamour, Redbook, GQ, Men's Journal, SELF, SHAPE, "The Huffington Post," and USA Today, among many others. Placements garnered as a result of the trend kit will add to Eyecessorize's overall media impressions number, which is used to gauge the campaign's yearly success. Furthermore, the kit will enhance the sole mission of the campaign: to promote eyewear and sunwear as must-have fashion accessories to the media.
