VCA Membership Continues to Soar

Eight new members join the organization

Washington, D.C. (October 3, 2006) – The Vision Council of America (VCA) continues its record-setting growth, adding eight new members to the organization. Pop Logic joins to participate in the Supplier Division, while Better Optics joins VCA as a Laboratory member. Additionally, Signature Eyewear, I. Frame Inc., Luxee/Clip House, New Line Optics Inc., Oneyes Collection Inc. and Lauren Eyewear join VCA to participate in the Eyewear and Accessories Division.

“VCA strives to create a home for all members of the vision industry. From lens manufacturers to low vision companies to the trade media, all optical companies can benefit from VCA membership,” stated Ed Greene, VCA chief executive officer.

VCA offers its members a vast array of services and benefits to help achieve their organizational goals. Members are able to take advantage of research and statistics programs, Vision Expo discounts, educational programs and valuable networking opportunities. VCA membership continues to grow 15-20 percent each year, evidence that the services that the organization provides can benefit the entire optical community.

“One of VCA’s strengths is the collaborative environment that the organization fosters,” noted Greene. “Bringing together optical companies together to address our common challenges is the best way to improve the industry.”
