Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications, Consumer Programs
Lindsey Ruhe is responsible for managing The Vision Council's marketing programs geared toward raising awareness of eyewear and eyecare to consumer media and consumers. The campaigns are as follows: Eyecessorize, National Sunglasses Day and Digital Eye Strain. In 2017, Lindsey was honored as one of Vision Monday's Most Influential Women in Optical in the Rising Star category. She holds a bachelor of arts degree – with double majors in English professional writing and communications electronic/print journalism – from Virginia Tech. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, reading, cooking and spending time outdoors.
