  • 2017 UV Protection Survey

    Findings show that only 21.2 percent of American adults report they "always" wear sunglasses, even though they also report experiencing symptoms like irritation in the eye, trouble seeing, wrinkles around the eye, red or swollen eyes, and sunburn of the eyelids and eye, as a result of prolonged UV exposure.   • 2017 Blue Light and Digital Eye Strain Survey

    Findings show that 68.5 percent of Americans report that they have not discussed their digital device usage with their eyecare provider, and 73.5 percent report that they did not know eyewear can be used to protect the eyes from the short- and long-term effects of blue light exposure and digital eye strain.
