This week, the website posted an industry data snapshot on the homepage regarding national revenue trends. Provided by The Vision Council member company and ReopenEyecare.com partner GPN Technologies, the data was collected to monitor revenue as a key indicator for practice recovery and indicates that year-to-date revenue has decreased by 18 percent from $754,000 in 2019 to $616,000 in 2020. The data also shows that revenue increased year-over-year from Sept. 1, 2019 by 16 percent.

Call for Creative Solutions: Policies Optical Practices are Implementing to Manage Disruptions to Childcare and Remain Open for Patients

Additionally, ReopenEyecare.com continues to seek input from optical practices on the creative solutions they are implementing to accommodate working parents and keep their practices open and viable.
