Marketing and Communications Specialist, Consumer Programs
Meghan Hovey is responsible for assisting with marketing and communications for The Vision Council's consumer campaigns: Eyecessorize, Digital Eye Strain, and National Sunglasses Day. She primarily writes blog posts and manages the social media channels for Eyecessorize, as well as facilitates media requests, tracks impressions and engagement numbers, communicates with members regarding initiatives, and provides general support for all three campaigns. She holds a bachelor of arts degree – with a major in communication (journalism concentration) and a minor in photography – from Marist College. In her free time she likes to sing, spend time outside with her dog, and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
