Eyecessorize Releases Fall/Winter 2017 Trend Kit
Eyecessorize – The Vision Council's campaign to promote the fashion and lifestyle aspects of eyewear and sunwear – is pleased to announce the release of its fall/winter 2017 trend kit.
Eyecessorize distributed the kit this week to approximately 400 media outlets ranging from regional and national newspapers, to print and online fashion, lifestyle, health and news publications. A sampling of outreach includes: InStyle, GQ, Real Simple, Marie Claire, People StyleWatch, Washington Post, Yahoo! Health, Men's Fitness, Women's Day and Refinery29.com, among many others.
The contents of the kit focus on trends interpreted from styles seen on fashion runways, and spotlights product from 80 members of The Vision Council's Eyewear & Accessories (E&A) and Sunglass & Reader (SRD) Divisions – a 15-member participation increase from the campaign's spring/summer 2017 kit. Curated by the Eyecessorize team, the trends are as follows: Athleisure Infusion, featuring sporty meets stylish frames; Elemental Panache, featuring frames inspired by nature; Fashion Unscripted, featuring highly editorial eyewear; and Sleek + Swanky, featuring understatedly chic frames.
Furthermore, the digital, interactive kit allows media to download hi-res imagery, reference story suggestions and access reputable trend descriptions, as well as read-up on additional eye health information surrounding UV eye protection, digital eye strain and annual eye exams.
While Eyecessorize actively pitches and responds to consumer media requests throughout the year, it also participates in web-based outreach by highlighting products from members on Eyecessorize.com, which houses the Eyecessorize blog, and various social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
The Eyecessorize team would like to thank those who participated in this season's kit and for their continued support of the campaign as a whole. To view a list of participating members, click here.
