The result of eight months of collaboration between The Vision Council’s research team and several SRD members, the report includes key insights from SRD members identifying, estimating and validating sunglass sales volumes in various retail channels. The basis for this report is made up of unit and retail dollar estimates for major retailers and channels, which is aggregated to produce unit and dollar estimates for the U.S. Up to $50 Plano sunglass market. Additionally, the report relies on observable factors and publicly accessible information to calculate unit and dollar estimates.

This report provides market sizing information in a more accurate and actionable way than has ever been available to members. We are excited to share this report with you and gain additional feedback on how to evolve, expand and improve the report going forward.
