Vision Expo Exhibitor Update for Members

Dear Member,

It seems like a lifetime ago that we communicated the difficult decision to postpone Vision Expo East. In the days that have followed that announcement, we have been working hard to communicate with exhibitors, attendees, conferees and industry partners and address their concerns and questions. At the same time, we have been working to realize what programmatic changes need to occur at The Vision Council as a result of the decision. We have made great strides but know there is more to do.

Many of you have contacted The Vision Council and Reed Exhibitions, regarding the requirements of your Vision Expo contract. We have discussed this issue with our Board of Directors and actively engaged in discussions with our Vision Expo show partner, Reed Exhibitions. We want you to know that we have heard you. We understand your concerns and have arrived at some options that we hope you will find fair and equitable. For assistance on your contract for Vision Expo East or Vision Expo West, please contact your Reed Exhibitions sales representative.

This is undoubtedly a difficult and unsettling time, we look forward to when we can once again gather together as a vision community at our shows, meeting and events and engage in fruitful discussion about our continued, collective effort to move our vibrant industry forward. In the meantime, we thank you for your support and patience.
