The Vision Council creates opportunities for strategic relationship-building and networking by facilitating industry events and offering members access to exclusive programming at industry forums.
As the co-owner of Vision Expo, a trade-only conference and exhibition held twice a year – Vision Expo East in New York City and Vision Expo West in Las Vegas – The Vision Council helps curate the ultimate marketplace for the vision community to connect and conduct business. Revenue from Vision Expo supports The Vision Council’s mission to promote growth in the vision industry through education, advocacy, research, consumer outreach, strategic relationship building and industry forums.
The Vision Council also facilitates and participates in a variety of events including members-only Division and Committee meetings, professional forums, and a yearly Executive Summit.
Featured Meetings and Events
For the first time, The Vision Council is hosting a completely virtual all-members meeting. Designed to inform, inspire, and connect members, the meeting will feature engaging presentations from The Vision Council’s leadership and community leaders on timely topics including the post-election outlook for the vision care industry and the state of the industry heading into 2021.
Vision Expo East 2021 is scheduled to take place March 18 – 21, 2021 at the Javits Center in New York City. As the complete event for ophthalmic professionals, where eyecare meets eyewear, and education, fashion and innovation mingle, 2021 also marks the 35th anniversary of Vision Expo East.
In the Vision Expo Exhibit Hall, eyecare providers can discover trends, interact with new technologies and access innovative products and services. More industry professionals make their buying decisions at Vision Expo than at any other annual industry event in North America. The Vision Expo education program is driven by the profession, offering content of the highest quality and relevance to enhance overall patient care.
