The Vision Care for Kids Act is among a list of 290 bills that have passed in the
House of Representatives and stalled in the Senate, according to an article in 'The Hill' newsletter.In response to the earthquake that hit Haiti on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, The Vision Council has compiled a list of resources for those who would like to make a donation to help those in need.
A special vision report was issued in The Wall Street Journal's December 5 Weekend Edition featuring The Vision Council. A front page advertisement on the report directs readers to The Vision Council's online Doctor Locator and Better Vision Institute chairman Tom Abbott was featured in an "Ask the Experts" section.
The Vision Council's Making the Grade? report examines the importance of early detection of vision problems for children and provides detailed information on which states across the U.S. require children to receive a vision screening or eye exam prior to entering school.
